These creatures can only live in clean oxygenated water found on rivers like the Upper Delaware River in the Catskill / Pocono
region of New York and Pennsylvania.
They usually begin to appear in mid April depending on weather and river conditions.
Pulling that grizzly hackle back is a neat trick to form the long wing case.
